2020

  • Alex has been awarded Charles A. Caramello Distinguished Dissertation Award. The award is for dissertations completed in 2019. The Caramello Distinguished Dissertation Award recognizes original work that makes an unusually significant contribution to the discipline.

  • Lijuan was selected to give a talk in TAGC (The Allied Genetics Conference) 2020 virtual conference held by GSA. Concurrent thematic session: Developmental Genetics: Cell Specification and Competition. (Talk: Dynamic self-generation of FGF morphogen gradients by cytonemes during Drosophila tracheal patterning. Lijuan Du, University of Maryland.)

  • Yujia has been awarded a Graduate Student Summer Research Fellowship for Summer 2020.

2019
